Most outdoor lanterns look like outdoor lanterns. This one looks like it belongs inside a design magazine. The handwoven bamboo body casts a web of warm shadow lines across walls, fences, and garden surfaces as the sun goes down — and it does it completely automatically, without any switches, timers, or electricity costs. Place it on a table, hang it from a branch, or line a pathway — it charges all day and glows all night.
Why This Solar Lantern Stands Out
✓ Handwoven bamboo construction — each lantern is individually woven, creating a distinctive open-weave pattern that projects warm shadow lines onto surrounding surfaces when lit at night
✓ Automatic dusk-to-dawn sensor — the built-in light sensor activates the LED automatically at dusk and switches off at dawn. Set the switch to ON once and the lantern manages itself every night
✓ 10–12 hours runtime per charge — the 800mAh battery stores enough solar energy during a 6–8 hour day of charging to illuminate through a full night outdoors
✓ IP65 waterproof rated — protected against rain, humidity, frost, and heat. Designed for permanent outdoor placement year-round through Canadian weather
✓ Warm amber LED glow — the Edison-style LED bulb inside produces a warm amber light that filters through the woven bamboo, creating a soft, layered lighting effect
✓ Hang or place — two ways to display — the metal hook allows hanging from tree branches, pergola beams, or shepherd's hooks. The flat base allows stable tabletop or surface placement
✓ Two shapes available — Wide (diamond shape): 7.1 × 10.4 in (18 × 26.5 cm) · Tall (cylinder shape): 4.3 × 10.4 in (11 × 26.5 cm)
✓ Zero running cost — fully solar powered, no wiring, no electricity, no batteries to replace

Where to Place It
→ Patio table or outdoor dining area — place as a centrepiece for warm ambient lighting during evening meals
→ Garden pathway — line with multiple lanterns at intervals for a warm, welcoming walkway at night
→ Pergola or gazebo — hang at different heights from beams for a layered, atmospheric effect
→ Tree branches or shepherd's hooks — the hanging hook allows display in any garden spot with natural supports
→ Front porch or entryway — hang beside a door or place on a step for a decorative welcome light
→ Balcony — compact enough for small outdoor spaces, no wiring or power outlet required

How It Works
1. Solar charging — the 2.5V 250mAh solar panel on the top lid absorbs sunlight during the day and stores energy in the 800mAh battery. A full charge takes 6–8 hours of direct sunlight
2. Automatic activation — the integrated dusk-to-dawn sensor detects when ambient light drops at sunset and automatically switches on the LED, illuminating the woven bamboo body from within
3. Light diffusion — the warm amber LED shines through the open weave of the bamboo frame, casting a pattern of warm light and shadow lines across surrounding surfaces

How to Set Up
1. Remove the protective film from the solar panel on the top lid before first use
2. Turn the switch on the base to the ON position
3. Place outdoors in a location that receives at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight on the solar panel during the day
4. Hang from the metal hook on a branch, beam, or hook — or place on any flat surface
5. The lantern will activate automatically at dusk and switch off at dawn each night
Tip: For optimal charging, position the solar panel facing upward and unobstructed. Avoid placing directly under dense tree canopy or overhanging roof sections during charging hours

Care and Maintenance
✓ Wipe the solar panel surface periodically with a soft dry cloth to remove dust that reduces charging efficiency
✓ Clean the bamboo weave with a soft dry brush — avoid soaking or directing high-pressure water at the woven body
✓ During extended winter periods with regular freezing temperatures, switch off and store indoors to preserve battery health
✓ Keep the lantern away from open flames and direct heat sources
