Watching animals dig up your garden, raid your bins, or damage your lawn night after night is frustrating — especially when sprays wash away and traps create more problems than they solve. This solar-powered ultrasonic repeller detects movement through its infrared sensor and responds instantly with high-frequency sound and flashing LED lights, creating an environment animals actively avoid. No chemicals, no traps, no wiring — just set it in the ground and let it work.
Why It Stands Out
- ✓ Dual ultrasonic horns — two high-power speakers emit different frequencies simultaneously for wider sound coverage across your outdoor space
- ✓ 5-gear frequency selector — each gear targets a different group of animals so you can tune the device to the specific pest you're dealing with
- ✓ Dual LED flash — red and white lights activate on motion detection to deter animals at night or in low light without disturbing neighbours
- ✓ 110° PIR infrared sensor — detects heat signatures from animals entering the coverage zone up to 8–9 m (26–30 ft) away
- ✓ Solar + USB dual charging — built-in Ni-MH battery charges via the top solar panel or USB cable for continuous operation day and night
- ✓ IP44 weather resistance — the ABS resin housing resists rain, dust, and impact for year-round outdoor use
- ✓ Three mounting options — push the ground stake into soil, hang from the hook, or mount on a wall or fence
- ✓ No wiring required — fully self-contained, installs in under a minute anywhere in your garden or yard

Animals This Device Targets
The 5-gear frequency system covers a wide range of animals commonly found in Canadian gardens and yards. Gear 1 (13.5–19.5 kHz) targets mice, dogs, rabbits, foxes, and minks. Gear 2 (19.5–28.5 kHz) is tuned for cats, raccoons, badgers, and skunks. Gear 3 (28.5–45.5 kHz) targets bats, birds, and mice. Gear 4 activates the double LED flash mode to deter raccoons, boars, and minks. Gear 5 combines full-band ultrasonic output with the LED flash for maximum simultaneous deterrence. Select the gear that matches the animal causing problems in your space — or rotate between gears if multiple animals are visiting.

How It Works
When an animal enters the 110° detection zone, the PIR infrared sensor picks up its heat signature. The device activates within seconds — emitting high-frequency ultrasonic sound from both horns and triggering the dual red and white LED flash lamps. The sound frequencies are outside human hearing range but register as uncomfortable to animals, causing them to leave the area. The device returns to standby mode automatically once the animal exits the zone, conserving battery charge. During daylight hours the solar panel continuously tops up the Ni-MH battery. If several consecutive overcast days reduce solar input, plug in via the USB charging port to maintain full charge.

Placement & Setup
Position the device facing the area you want to protect — a vegetable garden, flower bed, compost area, garbage zone, or lawn. The 110° sensor angle covers a wide arc so one unit handles most standard garden widths. For larger properties or areas with obstructions such as fences or dense planting, place additional units to eliminate blind spots. The ground stake pushes directly into soil. The hanging hook lets you suspend it from a fence post or bracket. For wall or fence mounting, use the hook hole at the top. Ensure the solar panel faces a direction that receives direct sunlight for at least part of the day to maintain battery charge.

Care & Maintenance
Wipe the solar panel surface occasionally with a dry cloth to remove dust, pollen, or debris that can reduce charging efficiency. The ultrasonic horns and sensor lens do not require cleaning under normal conditions. The IP44 housing handles rain and typical outdoor conditions — avoid submerging the unit or directing a hose directly at it. If storing the unit over winter, charge it fully via USB before storage and keep it in a dry location. Check the gear selector dial periodically to confirm it remains on your preferred setting, particularly after strong winds or physical disturbance.
